Strips of stainless steel 316L are available in a range of widths and thicknesses, from 0.25 inches to 12 inches, and thicknesses between 0.002 inches and 0.125 inches. Depending on the use, they can be delivered either annealed or tempered.
Strips made of stainless steel 316L offer even stronger corrosion resistance than stainless steel 316 and are superior to stainless steel 304. They are frequently employed in processes including the creation of chemical processing gear, pharmaceutical machinery, and naval components where resistance to corrosion and high temperatures are essential.
